PARWAL ALOO

INGREDIENTS:

1. Parwal – 250 gm

2. Potatoes – 2-3

3. Tomato chopped -1.5 tsp

4. Mustard seeds-1tsp

5. Chopped garlic-1tsp

6. Cummin seeds-1tsp

7. Mustard oil- 1tsp

8. Red chilli powder – 1tsp

9. Coriander powder – 1tsp

10. Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

10. Salt – 1tsp

HOW TO MAKE PARWAL ALOO:

1. Clean and cut Parwal into medium sized pieces, similarly cut the potatoes and keep them aside.

2. Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds and cummin seeds.

3. Add chopped garlic. Sauté for 1-2 minutes.

4. Add parwal and potatoes. Stir it for 1-2 minutes.

5. Now add turmeric powder and salt. Mix it well. Cook for 2-3 minutes.

6. Cover the pan and cook for 10-12 minutes or till potatoes are more than half cooked. stir Occasionally, to avoid sticking.

7. Now add red chilli powder and chopped tomatoes. Mix and cover. Cook for 7-8 minutes, till potatoes and parwal is completely cooked.


8. Bhuno the vegetable nicely. Finally add chopped coriander leaves and mix.

9. Serve with roti/ parantha/ rice.
